With the announcement this week that Meijer is following in the footsteps of Marsh and Kroger by ending their double coupon program this month, the question everyone has been asking me is -

What stores in Central Indiana still offer double coupons?

Sadly, while there are now no standard grocery stores offer double coupons in Indiana, I do have good news that many don’t realize. Peapod, an online grocery store that delivers groceries to your home, does still double coupons up to $0.99 every day!

Last year, I did some research to see is Peapod really a good deal when compared with other standard grocery stores, considering the additional fees for delivery. I was happily surprised to see that by shopping sales and using coupons, Peapods prices were very close, even after the additional delivery fees. Now, with other stores ending their double coupon program, it may actually beat many of the standard grocery store prices.

Through December 31, 2013, use the Peapod coupon code PPCJ15 to save $15 on your first order! Valid for new customers only, but I’m told many customers receive frequent coupons by email after their first order to use on future purchases.

Have you tried Peapod? How does it compare to other stores you’ve shopped? Share!

You can find more grocery coupons in the Coupon Database. Keep in mind that standard prices may vary slightly by store.

While making your grocery list, make sure you haven’t missed any recently added deals for grocery shopping.
