Here’s a few fun deals and events coming up soon in Indianapolis:

  • FREE Indiana State Fair Admission: The Indiana State Fair kicks off in August and this year, you’ll only find one FREE Indiana State Fair Admission ticket in the Indianapolis Star on August 8, 2011.
  • FREE Kids Admission at Symphony Sundays: The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is introducing a family-friendly ideal for children ages 4 and older.   Plus, kids admission is FREE.   Performances start in October.
  • FREE Music at Summer Celebration: Tonight, Friday, July 15, 2011, head to the American Legion Mall (401 N. Meridian Street) for a FREE Summer Celebration Concert featuring Heads of State, Stephanie Mills, and S.O.S. Band.   Concert starts at 6:00 PM.   Admission is FREE, but seats up to $40 are available.

Here’s a few fun deals and events coming up soon in Indianapolis:

  • Indianapolis Indians Two-for-One Tuesdays: Take your family to see the Indianapolis Indians this Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 7:05 PM for Two-for-One Tuesdays!   With the coupon found in this weekend’s Indianapolis Star (July 3rd Edition), you can get   two tickets for the price of one! (Thanks Joan!)
  • Fireworks Schedule: There is a lot happening this weekend from festivals to fireworks shows, so visit WTHR for a complete list of fun in your area, plus find out what time your local firework show will start.
  • Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art: Museum admission is FREE all day on July 4th, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the FREE Canal Family Fest!   You’ll find ongoing activities for the whole famly like Corn-on-the-Cob Darts, Buffalo Chip Toss, Stamp Designed Leather, Make-a-Corn-Husk Poekean, live music, and more!
  • CarmelFest: Hosted by B105.7, visit the FREE CarmelFest in Carmel, Indiana for FREE fireworks show, live pony rides, petting zoo, parade, CarmelFest Freedom Run, and more family-friendly activities through the weekend.   Times are 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM on July 3rd and 10:30 AM – 9:45 PM on July 4th.

  • Indianapolis Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff: Head to Spades Park Branch on June 11, 2011 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM of the Indianapolis Public Library for a FREE 2011 Summer   Reading Program Kick-off complete with games, face paining, balloon animals, clowns, jugglers, food, performances, dancing, and more!
  • Indianapolis Public Library FREE Summer Showtime: The Indianapolis Public Library has FREE Summer Showtimes.   Enjoy Megamind on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM at The Learning Curve and look online for more showtimes & locations.

  • *NEW* Calendar of FREE: To help you prepare for the Summer Fun in Indiana series kicking off Sunday with the first giveaway, I’ve created a calendar of FREE and cheap family fun events in Indianapolis, Indiana and surrounding areas.   I’ll be slowly adding great events as I find them!
  • Trader’s Point Creamry FREE Family Nature Hikes on the Farm: Throughout the summer, Trader’s Point is offering FREE Family Nature Hikes on the Farm.   The event is FREE, but donations are accepted to help support Friends of Eagle Creek Nature Conservancy and educational health and wellness programs at Trader’s Point.   The first one is this Saturday, June 4 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM.   Check the Calendar of FREE and Cheap Family Fun for more times and dates throughout the summer!
  • FREE Sun Safety Week: June 5-11 is Sun Safety Week!   Follow Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve on Twitter for instant updates on fun events throughout the week and watch for staff on trails throughout the park while exploring for FREE sun-safe materials for your summer.
  • Beef & Boards Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella: Beef & Boards is offering a special $10 discount for children ages 3-15 on their magical Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella showing through July 1, 2011. (Thanks Naptown Buzz!)

  • Discounts on Family-Fun in Indiana: We’re gearing up for Summer Fun in Indiana.
