Well I’ve had a fun time on Pinterest this week. Here are a few finds I was impressed with.

This looks like a great way to practice math. School work is always much more fun when it is like a game.

I wish I had seen this rule when my kids were small.  Great way to start them out so they wouldn’t expect so much.

OK  I need some crafty man to make this for me !!  A Karosene heater converted into a Lamp.  I love it.

Did you know?  This site has a list of great ideas and did you knows. Cereal canister for a trash can in your car? I will be picking one of these up real soon.

A Turtles Life for Me has a great post on how to make 40 freezer meals in 4 hours. Wow That could fill my freezer fast.

Eat This Not That has a great list of 15 recipes for weight loss. These nachos look so tasty.

What a fabulous idea. Why are these not sold everywhere?

I love the smell of coffee in the mornings!!  Great aroma therapy.

This could make our card game time much shorter. Those little hands always have a hard time holding the cards.

So true.  Live for the future and don’t dwell on those unpleasant things that happened in the past.

Well  its the simple things that you never realized could make life easier. I can think of so many uses for this.

Great way to recycle those plastic grocery bags.

This looks delicious and so easy to make.  Like a big blueberry muffin.

Wow!! Cook the bacon in the oven while you make everything else. Cuts down time and mess.

Cute nail design you can do very easily at home.

Longing to enjoy an old fashion Christmas experience?  Conner Prairie’s 1836 Outdoor Adventure is in full swing! But, it’s only available for 2 more days.

1836 Outdoor Adventure

December 10 or 17, 2011
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

FREE for Members!

Plus, Tuesday-Sunday throughout the month of December, enjoy the Gingerbread Village.  We went this weekend and it was amazing! I couldn’t believe the detail and designs of all of the gingerbread houses.  They are made by girl scout groups and local organizations that really put their all into it!  There were many impressive designs and not jut houses but castles and snowmen.

Grab this coupon to save $2 on your Conner Prairie admission for the 1836 Outdoor Adventure, which includes admission to the Gingerbread Village!

Has anyone else been this season?  What was your favorite part?

Disclosure: Connor Prairie kindly invited my family and I to checkout the new 1836 Adventure.  We had a blast, but have always been fans of Conner Prairie, so of course, all opinions are my own, regardless of the free visit we enjoyed.
