Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is shopping at Aldi cheaper than shopping at other stores that accept or even double coupons?
A: In my experience, it depends upon the product. When it comes to products that rarely have matching coupons, I can often find a wonderful deals at Aldi. However, I have found that I can usually get brand name products at other stores using coupons much cheaper than I could ever get in Aldi. I do find great deals on produce, meat, and seafood at times.
On the average, I rarely visit Aldi and do most of my shopping at stores that do accept and double coupons. Calculate unit prices and keep a grocery price book to see what products you buy may be cheaper at Aldi.
Q: Are there brand name products at Aldi?
A: Now and then Aldi does offer brand name products. However, most of their products are private label or store-brand products.
