Wow! I have many fans of the Indy Kid Consignment who are hoping for Pre-Sale Tickets!  So, to give you all another chance, I’m going to give you a bonus entry!

What has been your best consignment sale find?

New? If you’ve never been to a consignment sale, you’re missing out!  Not on the bonus entry though.  You can tell me what you are hoping to find instead.

Last year, I found matching pink sequin sparkle shoes that just happened to be available in both of my daughter’s sizes!  Very convenient, since they were going through a stage where they had to dress alike. I also picked up a lot of Easter-type dresses for very cheap, since my 3-year-old girl believes that every occasion is the perfect occasion for an Easter dress… or pajamas, Halloween costumes, and bathing suits (with skirts, of course).  But that about sums up her current very limited fashion preferences.  At least when I pick up an Easter dress for $1 or $2, I don’t mind so much that she’s intent on wearing it to the park.

However, I think my best ever find had to be a tiny corner desk for our tiny loft, so our kids had the perfect place to set their own very old computer and work.

The Indy Kids Consignment Fall Sale is just around the corner!  As the largest and most experienced consignment sale in the area, it’s a wonderful place for bargain hunting parents with kids of all ages to pick up maternity, equipment, clothes, toys, books, shoes, furniture, and so much more at great prices.

You can also make a little money by signing up as a Consignor and selling your gently used maternity and kids items!  You can earn up to 70% by volunteering, plus extra by referring new shoppers.  Plus, get shopping credit for referring new consignors!  Hurry though.  All consignors must be registered by Saturday, September 11, 2010!

Watching the action last year, I learned that the best time to shop is early!  All the best-of-the-best stuff is scouted out and snatched off the shelves as quickly as possible.  So, the wonderful organizers of the Indy Kids Consignment are offering the bargain hunters of In Good Cents a chance to sneak into the preview sale with this “Golden Ticket” giveaway!

• Makes beauty products to pamper herself

• With multiple kids, whoever finishes their homework first, must read until the others are done.  This encourages them not to rush, since they know no one is having fun with out them.  I love this and now my non-school age daughter reads and pretends to do homework while her big sister does!  It’s great together time for all of us.

• Make a few breakfast foods for the freezer for days you’re running behind, like pancakes, muffins, waffles, etc…, so you always know your child gets a good start!

• Make homework fun.  We’ve turned turned Ady’s site-words for the month of August into a Go Fish game, Memory Game, crafts, and more, so the whole family can enjoy homework together.
