Back when Marsh stopped doubling coupons, I noticed all mention of double coupons also disappeared from Meijer’s Frequently Asked Questions. I figured we didn’t have much time and now it’s happened.
Signs like pictures above are appearing in Meijer stores in Michigan and Indiana. While there has been no official announcement, Meijer has confirmed on their Facebook page that they will stop double coupons in “select markets”.
What can you do?
- Voice your concerns. Kindly contact Meijer Headquarters online or call 1-877-E-MEIJER.
- Continue to coupon. Continue to use manufacturer coupons, Meijer Perks, and other coupons and rebates to maximize your savings and stack them with great sales to help you save!
- Be kind! Remember, be kind to the cashiers and managers. They aren’t the ones who made this decision, so there’s no reason to take our frustration out on them.
If you’ve seen a sign like this in your store, let us know where here or on the Facebook discussion! And, do you think Kroger will follow soon?
