Free App for Android | Aqua Pets (Amazon Kindle Fire Edition)

My daughter loves the games, like Pet Shop Story, where you save up your money to buy animals, create new breeds of animals, and build a nice collection of animals. Since, like many kids, she always struggled understanding the concept of money, I loved watching her finally grasping the fact that she couldn’t just spend her money when she got it, if she wanted to buy bigger, more expensive items.

Then, the other day, my younger daughter was playing her sister’s game and asked my husband, “How do I make baby fish?”. My husband, who was never around kids until we had our own and still has his moments, replied, “You have to breed them.”

Izy immediately replied, “Oh.” I watched her process this for a while with a confused look on her face, the she said, “What’s breeding?”

My husband, red faced, looked up and said, “That’s when you drag one fish and drop it onto the other and they have a baby.” Technically, he was kinda, sort right… I guess… Either way, I got a great laugh out of it.
