An old favorite that many of you have had before.  I never realized how easy it is to make.

Pretzel Salad Recipe
Recipe Type: Salad, dessert, side dish
Always a favorite for holidays and carry ins.
Ingredients
  • Layer 1
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Layer 2
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 small Cool Whip
  • Layer 3
  • 1 large pkg strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 large carton frozen strawberries
Instructions
  1. Layer 1
  2. Mix pretzels, sugar and butter and press into bottom of 9×13 baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  4. Layer 2
  5. Mix together Cream cheese and sugar.
  6. Mix in Cool Whip.
  7. Spread over cooled crust.
  8. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  9. Layer 3
  10. Mix Jello with hot water until dissolved.
  11. Mix in cold water and strawberries.
  12. Chill until slightly thickened.
  13. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
  14. Refrigerate until firm and ready to eat.
