This Holiday Giveaway is part of the Season of Giving Holiday Gift Guide. A new giveaway will be released each day. Check out all the great gift ideas and exclusive coupons in the Holiday Gift Guide and watch for more chances to win!

I love those photos of babies with beautiful, oversized hair bows on their head and always envy the women who have enough style to add flowers and bows into their hair.  I never know how to accessorize.  But, as I was trying out the Laynie and Belle ::Hair Things::,  I learned an important lesson – there’s no need to overthink it!

Totally unsure what to wear the beautiful vintage headband with, I finally just stuck it on with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and headed to the grocery store.  I was stopped three times by someone and asked where I got my headband.

It didn’t matter what I wore it with, it was a simple piece that revamped my typical grocery store and had people stopping me in the aisle (and not to ask me about my awesome couponing skills!).

As someone who struggles with fashion, it was amazing.

Layne and Belle has many unique handmade hair accessories for those picky teenagers who you really aren’t sure what to buy, a little girl who loves to look beautiful, or the special woman in your life.

Laynie and Belle is listed under For Her & Jewelry & Accessories in the Season of Giving Holiday Gift Guide.

About Laynie and Bell: Laynie and Belle was est. in September of 2010. All pieces are handmade by designer and owner, me, Ashley Stamper. I strive to create original, vintage inspired pieces that people will stop you in a store and ask, ”Where did you get that!?” L&B caters to woman and children of all ages. I think beauty is very related to confidence and how you carry yourself. So no matter what you are wearing or how you look today be confident that you are beautiful and be beautiful.

Coming from someone who has never been known for beauty in the world’s eyes, I think that beauty has nothing to do with appearance. True beauty comes from within! There is a glow from someone who is sweet and gentle and kind, loving God in actions to others.

My husband’s love makes me beautiful

5 Calli November 26, 2011 at 5:46 PM

I am beautiful because I am unique, because I don’t wear makeup often, because I like pink, because I squeak sometimes, because I sometimes just let my hair do whatever, because I sit in the sun everyday, little things that are me make me beautiful.

My husband says it’s the way I make friends so easily. He says I leave people feeling better about themselves, not because I’m worse off than they, but by how I interact with them. I’m just a good listener, that’s all.

I honestly believe that beauty lies in the confidence you have and the way you carry yourself. I have naturally red hair and as a kid-I was constantly getting picked on for it-which made me hate it! Now, I see it as something very special-that I got from my grandmother…and I love it! So-I would have to say my hair is what makes me beautiful! :)
