I never understood why anyone worried about the thread count of their sheets.  Honestly, it seemed like a silly thing to waste money on, since sheets are sheets. Then, I got a set of 1500 thread count sheets.  I can’t even put into words how amazing it feels to sleep under those sheets.  They are so thick, yet shockingly soft.  Even though the idea of sleeping in butter doesn’t sound at all appealing, that’s the word that comes to mind.

Typically, a good pair of sheets with a high thread count can cost you a pretty penny (like over $200!), but 1500 Threads offers affordable 1500 thread count sheets at an affordable price – as low as $90!

I was driving with my Grandma who loves luxury and she mentioned her sheets just the other day.

“What’s the thread count?” , I asked casually.

She went on to say they were 600 thread-count sheets and she paid over $100 for them, then went on to talk about how soft they were.  Then, I dropped the fact that Scott and I had 1500 thread-count sheets.  Knowing how frugal I am, her mouth dropped open and she immediately asked how much I paid for mine, knowing I got a deal.

I told her all about 1500 Threads and she immediately sat me down in front her computer and had me buy her a pair!  Now she’s telling all her friends about the bargain she got and how the sheets were worth every penny!

Really, you have to just lay in a set of these sheets for one second and you’ll know what I mean!

1500 Threads is listed under Gifts for Everyone & Home & Decor in the Season of Giving Holiday Gift Guide.

I need a good night’s sleep to keep up with my 2 teenage children

2 Christine Jenkins November 30, 2011 at 5:05 PM

I need a good night’s sleep to be a productive mom and wife as I also work a full time job.

3 Elizabeth Braun November 30, 2011 at 5:29 PM

Between my three teenage/preteen kids (and trying for one more lil one), working a full time job (I am a dispatch manager for a small trucking company with 17 employees under me and I am on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year so you can imagine the calls I get at all hours of the night), plus all the activities that I am involved in a good nights sleep would be a blessing.

4 Shawnda Newberry November 30, 2011 at 5:31 PM

I need a good nights sleep because 3 months ago my boyfriend deployed to Afghanistan. There’s no worse feeling in the world then to get a phone call saying Hi, I’m okay but… yeah that’s what I received 3 weeks after he arrived. Thankfully without going into specifics he was okay, but it’s very stressful at night to go to bed knowing that he is just starting his day and you don’t know what each day will bring. A good nights sleep would be wonderful… I believe I have forgotten what it is to sleep well!

5 Tammy November 30, 2011 at 5:38 PM

33 Cassie Mackell December 1, 2011 at 2:37 PM

A good night’s sleep is so important to me because it starts my day off on the right foot. I work in a collegiate athletics department and I need all the energy and rest possible to be effective in my daily job. I know when I’ve had a good night’s rest when I wake up 5 minutes before my alarm goes off. I don’t know how, but for some reason when that happens, I know I am ready to kick the day off right.

34 Danielle Hull December 1, 2011 at 2:54 PM

Oh, I could give so many reasons, but I’ll give the most important. I need good sleep because I need to be well rested with the abundant energy that my kids have & I lack. This is one because I am an insomniac and also because I have a 16mo who still wakes up in the middle of the night and awakens bright & early!

42 Kristyn Martin December 2, 2011 at 10:43 PM

44 Jan December 3, 2011 at 2:44 PM

I need a good nights sleep because my husband snores and if I have “comfy” sheets, I won’t wake up in the middle of the night and hear him..:)

45 Bob December 3, 2011 at 2:46 PM

I would like to win these for my wife, she deserves a good nights sleep for all that she does for our family and all that she does with the autistic kids that she works with during the day..

46 Jamie December 3, 2011 at 3:19 PM

Every night….I have 2 little boys who creep in my bed with me. It’s a tough battle because I know these days are short (when my kids are little) but I also can’t sleep with them in my bed!:)
