Frugal Recipes

Quick tasty snack.  My kids loved these when they were young.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Corn Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Dill
  • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
  • 2 pkg. Oyster Crackers

Directions

1.  Mix all ingredients (except crackers)

2.  Put Crackers in container large enough to allow for occasional mixing.

3.  Pour mixture over crackers and mix.

Cooking Tips & More

An ice cream container works very well.  These are best after they have set for 24 hours. Eat as a snack or with soup.

Awesome Beth. I love this snack!!! Also you can find a recipe to make your own ranch dressing mix at http://www.livingsimplyinc.com/2010/09/ranch-dressing-mix.html It is so much cheaper than buying the ranch packets!

My mother still makes these to this day! Only thing she does different is bakes them on a cookie sheet to get a little crispy! Cheap Snack too!
