Do you know if this is for all Marsh stores? Our circular in Indiana doesn’t show this tripling offer on the circular anywhere.

Jen, they don’t put it in the circular, but it’s all stores. They didn’t even announce it publicly until this morning.

I simply LOVE that Marsh is doing this again! Perhaps it will be a semi-frequent event??? I saved so.much.money this morning!

On a whiny note- I had two different Dawn coupons- one was for $.75 off the Plus and one was for $.50 off the regular- both were on sale for $2. I picked up two bottles of each. They wouldn’t accept both types of coupons- they said they were the ‘same’. Either way- I was thrilled to get two bottles of the plus dish soap for free- but I was hoping to get to purchase the other two of the regular for $.50 each.

I’m a cashier at a Marsh and I’m saying they were wrong on that note. Those are not even for the same product, technically, just the same brand – and they are different values, therefore different coupons.
I really hope they continue with this too. They’ve been running some great promotions recently!

Nicole, you are completely right! Those were two completely different coupons and I myself used them both today, they should have scanned through fine, especially since they obviously say two different things on them. Did you try to explain to them that they were different? I always try to be very polite and explain to the cashier, showing them where it says two different things. And if they don’t accept my coupon, I simply remove the item from my purchase. Did you put back the ones they wouldn’t allow the coupons on? Take them back in and use them on a different transaction if you live near your marsh. I ran back over to Marsh myself today to get 2 more Gillette Deodorant, Dawn Plus and Oral-B Flossers for my kids.

Some of the coupon links aren’t working… it tells me that I have already printed it when I haven’t. Can you tell me when I can find the Breyer’s Blast and the Crackerful coupons? Thanks!!

You can find a list of available coupons in the coupon database! :)
Crackerful Coupons and the Breyers are here. As far as getting the comment about coupons already being printed, I have gotten that on a few coupons myself that I know I have not printed. Maybe the print limit has been reached for those coupons, but then it should say that, not that we have already printed them? I am not 100% sure why alot of people are getting these comments, most likely it’s just a glitch in they system. So if and when I find out what is going on I will be sure to let you know! :) I am just going to keep trying to print and hopefully I can get it go through.

Janie, this happens a lot. When a coupon reaches it’s print limit, before they remove it completely or mark it as no longer available, it defaults to “you’ve reached your print limit” even if you’ve never printed those coupons before. And, I just realized, I can’t strike out coupons like I use to do with the new Printable Lists. I may mention that to the designers to see if they can rectify that. I like to keep coupon on the list that aren’t expired for those who may have printed them, just to remind them to use them.

Thanks so much for the heads up! I had time to get in a quick trip before we leave for the weekend, and saved a bunch! I wouldn’t have known about it without your site! :)

I’m soo sick of people clearing shelves.. Do you REALLY need 4 seperate people with you getting 2 of everything?! I’m sooo tired of this!!! Sorry for the rant!

Elizabeth September 3, 2011 at 8:40 AM

Susie, your rant is just perfectly understandable! :) I have felt the exact same way more than once. It gives me MORE motivation to make sure I am following the stores policies completely. Because I do this, I have been able to forge such a wonderful relationship with most of my regular stores. They know that when I come in, they are not going to have to deal with coupon misuse or watch me closely because they know I am following the rules. I do just fine shopping for my family on a small budget by following the rules and we have to set a good example of what proper couponing is. So when I see this I try to think….JUST MAYBE, this person has a family of 10 to feed? It makes it seem a little better! :) But totally get where you are coming from, I had a similar rant recently when I went to buy my papers and had to drive to 5 different stores at 9a.m. to find them! :)

The good thing is that since the triples are going on through Monday they should at least get one more truck before it is over, so there might be a chance to go back and pick up the few things that we cleared! Give your store a call to see! :) Good luck and remember we have all been there!

FYI to anyone who received the local $5 off $40, etc coupons in their weekly add, they are taking that off your total BEFORE manufacturers coupons. I went home with 83% savings!

Thanks for the heads up! I walked out with 24 dollars spent for an 80 dollar bill. Some mt. Olive pickles are priced even cheaper and ALL detergent is also on sale for 2.99 making it 1.99 along with ERA. Also PACE salsa is on sale for 2/$4 which with a .50/2 tripled made each 1.25 which is a good deal. I was also lucky enough to get a cashier that let me use 5 coupons at a time so there was no separating in two transactions. Yay!
