I can only get the Tampax to come out to $3 each?
Pay 13.98 for 2
-$3/2 Tampax Pearl P&G
-$5 giftcard
2.99 each
Am I missing something?

Ladies, what you’re looking at is a list of all the items you can buy to get the $5 gift card. The $1.49 is the lowest possible price you can get on the deal. The lowest price isn’t for the Tampax though. It’s for the Always Pads.

Buy (2) Always Pads @ $6.99
Use (2) $2/1 Always Pads (P&G Sampler)
Use (1) $1/2 Always Pads @ Target (RP 6/4/11 R)
Get (1) $5 Target Gift Card

$6.99 * 2 = $13.89
$13.89 – 5 – 4 – 1 = $3.98
$3.98/2 = $1.99

So, Anna, you are right. It’s $1.99 instead of $1.49. I’m sorry ladies. I swear my mind when on vacation this weekend. I made more mistakes than ever! I put June on about every post… sigh… thank you. I’ll fix that.
