Okay Beth, I’m new to this and have a stupid question…

How are you stacking manufacturer’s coupons on the same item…? No store has ever let me do that..

2 Beth June 5, 2011 at 11:39 AM

Rachel, I do not stack manufacturer coupons. That was a typo. The coupon in the P&G insert is actually a $3/1 coupon, so thank you for pointing that out, so I could fix it!

I am also new to this and I am wondering where you are getting the colgate coupons in yesterday’s paper(6/5)? I didn’t get any colgate coupons nor did I get any Ban deodorant coupons either? Do all newspaper companies release the same coupons? I was really excited about my trips to Walgreens and CVS this week and then saw that I didn’t get the coupons you mentioned in the above deals?

Never mind…I just read about it under the coupon preview section of your blog and I do not get the largest metropolitan paper like the Indy Star. I get The Chronicles so I guess I need to get the Kokomo or Indy paper to get those coupons I don’t have! Bummer!

Melissa, I’d go with the Indianapolis Star. That’s what I get. Even then, the CVS Deals are nationwide, so you may not get all the coupons listed. However, the Indianapolis Star usually has coupons that are as good or better than most newspapers. Every so often, we don’t get a great one though. It happens to all of us!
