When I’m trying to lose weight, just being very conscious of what im eating works for me. Once i get the idea of having to count calories, setting a caloric goal, and sticking to my target helps deter from eating those not so good for you things.

Drinking alot of water and walking. If I always have water within grabbing distance I notice I am not as hungry. I also try to walk, even if its for 15 to 30 minutes a day. I have a 4 year old who got his first bike for Christmas. So I started walking around the block while he rides his bike. I am going to try to do this everyday. This worked when my older children were young….

When attempting to lose weight, eating a salad a day works well for me. Whether it is at noon as the meal, or as a side at dinner doesn’t seem to matter, as long as I get that one big salad a day. Maybe it has to do with getting the right amount of vegies each day?

This scale would certainly help me attain my weightloss goals, as my older scale isn’t all that accurate, and sometimes can be discouraging when I feel that I should be lighter. Other times, I think that I can ‘cheat’ a little (as a reward for losing ahead of my plan), and indulge, and here I really am heavier than the scale shows!

When losing weight I try to keep meals 300 cals and under and have 100 cal snacks 3 times a day.

I am trying to lose baby weight! The only thing that has worked well in the past was the South Beach diet with daily exercise. Just have to get motivated and use some self control!

The best thing I’ve found is to cut out mindless calories from snacking and sodas/sugary drinks. This is not easy (note the “mindless” description–you tend to eat/drink these things without thinking!)

I am clueless what true portion size including metric or ounces looks like, and this can only help. After the holidays, a reality check is in order and a Precsion scale would be ideal!

I drink TONS of water! It seems to be the only thing that really works for me. I love drinking water anyway, but for it help me loose weight I drink about ten large glasses a day!
