The site states $1/1 Halls Cough Drops coupon! I installed the printer activator and the message was for a $.35 coupon, which did not print. Would you pls explain this to me.

Thank you

Vicky, yes I can. In Good Cents is a blog that posts posts deals each day. The home page holds the most recent deals and all other posts are “archived” though still available for you to view. Sometimes search engines hold these archived posts and bring them up during searches.

Most deals are only available for a limited time and coupons change often. Sometimes when a coupon hits it’s print limit, the distributor will shut the coupon down, decrease the value, or offer a completely different coupon.

This post was from January 13, 2011, as you can see by the date at the top of the post, so the coupon most likely hit it’s print limit and the value was decreased. You can read about this in my Content Policy and in the Navigating a Blog lesson, but since most of my readers subscribe, so they get deals as they are posted or daily, I don’t state this in every post. They’d get sick of seeing it. In addition, I only update posts that end within 24 hours of them being posted, so readers will know it went quickly in their daily update and not attempt the offer.

As for the coupon not printing, I simply share deals. I’m not affiliate with the company offering the coupon. Please, contact them. Often they’ll mail you the coupon or help you, so you can print it.

Hope that helps and thanks for letting me know the coupon changed!
