Apparently you didn’t realize that it is in RITE AIDS coupon policy NOT to give overage.
Actually, I don’t know of any store in my area that actually gives cash back on overage. But, in the examples listed, Rite-Aid does give overage without giving cash back. Take the Motrin PM for example…
You’d buy (1) Motrin PM (20 ct.) at $5.49
You’d give them the $2/1 Manufacturer AND $2/1 Rite-Aid Coupon
You’d pay $1.49 out-of-pocket
They’d give you $3 +UP Rewards (more than you paid)
You made $1.51 on this purchase (overage)
That’s right, Rite Aid will adjust down any coupon if there is overage. However, there is the potential to earn overage as in the UP Rewards scenarios above, just not actually cash back. I would NEVER post a scenario with cash back overage.
