Holiday Giveaways

Happy Holidays! This giveaway is part of The Holiday Gift Guide: Season of Giving Giveaways. Check back daily for new giveaways and gift ideas for everyone on your list!

Everyone is looking for ways to be healthier, all-natural, and more green. It’s also important to teach your children now, so they’ll do the same as they grow.

Barley & Birch designs organic clothing for kids. Currently they have a line of fun environmental tees and tanks, but will soon be adding more fun clothing that’s safe for your children.

My kids loved that the Barley & Birch tees are so soft and comfortable, but also splashed with fun colors or favorite animals.   And they’re excited to see the fun dresses and clothes that will be soon joining the clothing line.

When you buy from Barely & Birch, 15% of your purchase goes to carbon-reducing initiatives AND 15% goes to help improve lives.   Barley & Birch was voted 2010 Parent’s Choice “Best Organic Clothing

About Barley & Birch: Alejandro started barley & birch to make a difference. He wanted to give parents and children the safest and most environmentally friendly clothing possible. Alejandro also wanted to use any profits that that business created to help improve the global community.

We have a community garden, shared with our neighbors on the empty plot near our home. We also cloth diaper, recycle everything we can, and re-use everything from ziplocks to scrap paper. Being green is a way of life!

We garden with our little guy (he’s 3) and we’re starting to talk about wasting (water, energy, etc.)

I’m a big fan! Wanted to also pass along some of the savings that can be had by using your Visa card. http://usa.visa.com/personal/discounts/index.jsp You have to scroll down the page to see the discount offers. Don’t know if you’ve covered this before, but every little bit helps. ;) Thanks for doing what you do!

We recycle everything possible and involve our son in it. He is only three and knows to look on the bottom of plastic containers to see if they can be recycled!

Actually Kyle Smitley created the line, Jodie Milmore does the graphics and Alejandro is the adorable child model in one of the banners.

Anon, that’s so funny. I misread something on the site and I”ll fix that! Now I do see it says “trusted his Dad” :)
