White Fudge Recipe

Holiday Recipes

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Optional – Chopped walnuts or chopped dried cranberries or both

  1. Mix first 5   ingredients together in large heavy sauce pan and let sit for 5 min before cooking.
  2. Then cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a full boil. Stir constantly.
  3. Boil to soft ball stage.
  4. Let sit for 15 minutes then add 2 tespoons vanilla and beat until mixture looses its glossy look.
  5. Optional –   add additional ingredients such as chopped walnuts or chopped Craisins.
  6. Pour into buttered 9×9 pan and let cool.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy.
