
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 – 6 oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups nut pieces
- 1 tsp vanilla
- In large sauce pan mix Sugar and Evaporated milk
- Bring to a boil – Let boil no longer than 8 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Stir in Chocolate chips and butter. Stir until melted
- Stir in nuts and vanilla
- Spread in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan
- When cool cut into squares
- You can also decorate before cutting with sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
