25 Days of Recipes: Simple Fudge

Holiday Recipes

  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 – 6 oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups nut pieces
  • 1 tsp vanilla

  1. In large sauce pan mix Sugar and Evaporated milk
  2. Bring to a boil – Let boil no longer than 8 minutes
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Stir in Chocolate chips and butter. Stir until melted
  5. Stir in nuts and vanilla
  6. Spread in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan
  7. When cool cut into squares
  8. You can also decorate before cutting with sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
