Holiday Giveaways

Happy Holidays! This giveaway is part of The Holiday Gift Guide: Season of Giving Giveaways. Check back daily for new giveaways and gift ideas for everyone on your list!

Discovery Toys has to be one of my favorite toy suppliers.   Every toy in their catalog is fun, colorful, and educational.   Whenever my child has one in their hands, I can see them learning while playing and I love that.

On top of that, Discovery Toys have so many alternative uses that I would never have thought of, but suddenly make the toy practically new again.   Take the Giant Pegboard for example.   It’s not just a pegboard to teach match, counting, fine-motor, exporting, matching, colors, shapes, and more.   The pegs can serve as wands to blow bubbles, you can turn it into a challenging game by jumping the pegs to see how many you can remove, or play memory with them!   How crazy is that?

Plus, no matter what your child is into – Music, Art, Puzzles, Games, Reading, Math, etc…   and no matter where they’re playing – the bath, outside, inside, etc… you’ll find something they’ll love and that will expand their knowledge.

Personally, my daughter and I want this Motor Works set, (pictured on right) since we both love taking things apart and putting them back together.   We’re planning to get it for Daelan, but since it’s a bit involved, we’ll probably have to play with it until he gets old enough.   Every small piece comes apart with the drill and screwdriver.   It’s the best puzzle every for future do-it-yourselfers.

Most Discovery Toys are priced under $20, to they are affordable.   Plus, they have a lifetime guarantee, which means if it breaks, they’ll replace FREE.   How wonderful is that?

We use the tool kit to make patterns with the screws!

My 17 month-old daughter loves her measure up cups! They are fun to stack, but also double as beach toys to scoop sand and bath toys to scoop water and I can also use them to rinse the shampoo out of her hair!

We use the measure up cups to as bath toys and she loves to use them with pasta when I am cooking dinner!

I don’t have any Discovery toys but just checked out their wipeable workbooks. Looks like there are many options for the books and that would be great for a long car ride.
