Remember when I mentioned a FREE $10 credit at bTrendie’s social buying site? I have some bad news!
Without a word (at least to me), bTrendie has disappeared. The daily e-mails stopped coming. Their website, Twitter account, and Facebook page are blank. I even checked back to see if I got a “going out of business” notice at sometime and skipped over it, but nothing.
However, today I did get this e-mail from Totsy…
As you may know, bTrendie has gone out of business. We are happy to inform you that Totsy has taken over the bTrendie database of members and is now your new private sale destination for the family!

Please note that Totsy is not responsible for any unused credits, discounts, vouchers or fulfillment issues of any kind including orders and returns that are associated with your bTrendie account.
So, any bTrendie credits you still had in your account… well, they are gone too! It’s one of the best disappearing acts I’ve seen. Honestly, I understand completely that businesses fail for many reason, but I always appreciate a nice note letting customers know, even if that note did say that unfortunately all unused credits were lost. But, oh well!
You can check out the daily deals on Totsy though. It’s very similar to bTrendie. Today, you’ll find games from The World Wildlife Fun (which are very cool looking), lunchboxes and more from Jack Rabbit Creations, swaddles, sleepsacks, and more from CoZi, and more!

Howdy – just an FYI it’s possible that for legal reasons Btrendie was not allowed to disclose the closing or sales of the database. But I agree it was not the best way to handle things.
