The biggest way I save money is by cooking meals for us to eat at home and avoid restaurants. It’s truly amazing how eating out can add up (even with coupons or at low-cost restaurants). I’ve been making freezer meals for almost 5 years now and it’s a great time and cost saver!

I do pedicure and manicure for myself at home. Also, (plz dont laugh), I always do the hair-cut for my husband. Saves around 30-40/month. Plus, we switched to energy efficient bulbs and our electric bill has dropped drastically. It has been almost three years since we changed the bulbs and still going strong.

I clip coupons, make extra when I cook a meal so we can have it later in the week. I also like to make as much of our meals from scratch instead of boxed.
