Tarts for a Princess Recipe

Of course, our recipe this week has to be Disney inspired right?   Well, when you or the little princess in your life is in need of a little pampering, try these tarts fit for a princess!

- – Ingredients – -

Filling

  • 1 1/2 tsp Milk
  • 4 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • 2 TBSP Soft Cream Cheese
  • 3/8 tsp Vanilla Extract

Crust

  • 1 1/4 Cup Crushed Graham Crackers
  • 5-6 TBSP Melted Butter

Topping

  • 3/4 Cup Fruit and/or Berries
  • 1 TBSP Fruit Jelly
  • 3/4 tsp Sugar
  • 3/8 tsp Vanilla Extract

- – Directions – -

  1. Combine filling ingredients in a small bowl and blend until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Mix graham crackers with butter and press into individual pie pans to form 2 crusts.
  3. Spoon cream mixture into each crust and smooth the top.
  4. Spoon berries on top.   Refrigerate.
  5. When ready to serve, mix jelly and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 20-30 seconds until bubbly.   Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Drizzle glaze over fruit and serve!
