This is Challenge #1 in the 90-Day Budget Boot Camp.   The first challenge is sponsored by Stolen Moment’s Menu Planning.   Scroll down to find out how to enter their exciting giveaway! If you’re new, find out how you can join to kick your own budget’s butt!

Are you ready to kick off our 90-Day Budget Boot Camp with our first challenge?   Here it is!

- – The Challenge – -

The first part is simple -

Make A Menu!

The second part is tricky -

Stick to It!

Menu making sounds easy, but some just don’t know where to begin or why to even start.   So, lets begin with the why…

Why? When you plan your meals for the month or week before you head to the store, you’ll know exactly what you need.   This will help you avoid those budget-busting additional trips to pick up one or two additional ingredients.   Plus, you won’t end up in the kitchen wondering what to make and deciding to head to a restaurant when you nothing sparks in your mind.

How? How you menu plan depends on what works for you!   There’s no right or wrong way.   Check out my tips for Making a Menu Plan for a few options and to download the Meal Planner to give you a template to get you started.

What? Need some new meal ideas?   Check out browse my recipe index for some quick, easy, and kid-friendly recipes and visit Clair’s site for some more delicious recipes.

Come back on Wednesday to find out how our Challengers do and hear their experiences!

- – Giveaway – -

This week’s challenge is sponsored by Stolen Moment’s Menu Planning!   If you, like me, struggle with meal planning or coming up with creative meal ideas, let them do the work for you.

Stolen Moments is one of my favorite recipes sites, because the entire idea is based around using small bits of time (or stolen moments) throughout your day to cook, instead of trying to spend a large lump of time at the end of your day when the kids are getting fussy and your spouse just gets home.   Honestly, the concept is just brilliant to me, since I can never get anything done at the end of the day.

Prize:

Stolen Moment’s Menu Planning is offering one (1) month of menu planning to three (3) lucky winners!

Required Entry:

Tell us about your menu planning situation.

Bonus Entries:

Each task below that is completed is worth one (1) additional entry.   All are option, but give you more changes to win!
