Have you heard, Walmart is no longer accepting internet coupons?! I was there yesterday (96th St., Fishers IN) and they denied my 4-5 Coupons.com coupons. I argued it is their store policy and they were printed directly from coupons.com however the CSM said “we have been trained and these ones you have are in fact fraudulent”. Apparently it’s a new change to their policy, Walmart is not being reimbursed or something to that affect. I was ticked off and had them remove the items from my purchase and said I’d take my coupons and buy them at Kroger instead.
Ann-Marie, that’s insane! I think the manager you spoke with had no idea what he was talking about. You might want to call headquarters and ask, because their online policy clearly states that they do – http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx and Coupons.com coupons are definitely not fraudulent. The manufacturers reimburse them, not Coupons.com and manufacturers wouldn’t release printable coupons if they weren’t going to reimburse the stores for them.
