Asked:
What’s up with the Walmart Deals? They are usually posted on Wednesday, so does their ad (and sales) start on Wednesday or do you just post them late?

Walmart is one of the most complicated stores for couponers for many reasons, but you can save a bundle there if you know what you’re doing. And it all starts with the sales and circular!
Yes, in some areas, Walmart does have a weekly circular in their newspaper, but this isn’t an advertisement for sales. Most often, the prices included in the Walmart circular are their regular every day prices or rollback prices, which are on going and don’t necessarily only last a week. The only time Walmart releases a weekly sale circular is around holidays.
With this in mind, what you’re seeing each week isn’t a weekly list of deals. Heather, at Passion for Savings, heads over to Walmart each week to do her shopping and manually match the coupons to the prices in store. Because Walmart’s prices vary, and sometimes vary greatly by store, they might not all match the Walmart in your area, though most should be close.
