Frugal & Fun Kid's Birthdays: Introduction

This is post 1 of 7 in the series Frugal & Fun Kid’s Birthdays.

We LOVE birthdays in our home and we celebrate with full force.   In fact, we usually celebrate more than once too.   I’ve seen parents drop extreme amounts of money for their kid’s birthday parties, but true to fashion, when it comes to parties, we’re   frugal!   That does not mean we don’t celebrate in style and have an absolute blast.

Though my daughter’s birthday was last week, we’re having her official party this weekend when all our family can come together to help us celebrate.   Since it’s party mania here as we prepare, it’s also the perfect time for me to share my frugal tips for a fun kids birthday party.

You can look forward to some great ideas that don’t break the bank.   Here’s the schedule:

Sunday: Introduction
Monday: A Family Day
Tuesday: Food & Eats
Wednesday: Party Sites
Thursday: Slumber Parties
Friday: All the Extras
Saturday: 100 Party Ideas

So get your party hat on (or your tiara, since our birthday this weekend is Princess themed) and get ready for a week long celebration of saving money!
