When I was younger, my Grandma used to make this and I absolutely loved it. Now it’s a favorite of my husband and kids. Plus, it’s a cheap alternative to sausage gravy.

INGREDIENTS
6 Eggs, beaten
2 TBSP butter (optional)
4 TBSP all purpose flour
3 cups cold milk
Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Scramble eggs until done. Add milk, butter, and flour. Salt and pepper as desired. Cook to a boil, then set aside to thicken. Serve warm on top of biscuits or toast.

Plus, here is a very sweet alternative:

INGREDIENTS
4 Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together and cook in a skillet, stirring constantly. Great over toast or biscuits!
