After canceling my newspaper subscription, I had to make a trip to CVS today to grab a paper and get my coupons! While I was there, I made sure to take advantage of some of the freebies and great deals. Plus, I needed to use my $/$$ coupons! Did you know that if you have 2 $/$$ coupons, you can use them together if your before coupon total is equal to the both of the maximum purchase requirements added together. For example, I used a $4/$20 and $5/$25 together, because my total was $52.18 before coupons.

1 – Contour Meter (Used up to $30/1, adjusted to $14.99)
1 – Clairol Natural Instincts (Used $4/1)
1 – Glade The Fragrance Collection Reed Diffuser (Used $3/1)
1 – Bounce Dryer Bar (Used $2.50/1)
1 – Gillette Fusion Razor (Used $2/1)
1 – Gillette Body Wash (Used FREE w/ purchase of razor)
2 – Nabisco Cookies (Used $0.75/2)
1 – Newspaper
1 – CVS Toilet Paper

Used $5/$25 & $4/$20
Used $9.95 ECB (from previous purchase)

GRAND TOTAL: $52.18
COUPON & ECB TOTAL: $51.18
FINAL OOP: $1.00 OOP + Tax
ECB EARNED: $15.00 (for future purchase)

On top of that, the meter came with a mail-in-rebate! I plan to donate the Contour Meter to our pediatrician’s office. They give them to families who can not afford needed diabetic supplies or are struggling financially.
