I finally got out and about to grocery shop again, which we desperately needed. I did drag my poor husband with me to push the cart and help out. Since he was there, I attempted to educate him on the art of the $/$$ coupon and the brilliance of my well thought out shopping “plan of attack”. I’m not quite sure he got it, since he never did stop asking, “Why don’t we just buy X here?” or “Want to buy this instead?”. My 4 year old had to keep reminding him, “We stick to the list, Dad.” He was a very good sport though and even took a bag of apples, a Hershey Bliss candy bar, and a package of Quaker Bites through the check out all by himself armed with his stack of coupons and a gift card.
