It happens to all of us. We buy fresh produce, then time passes and passes and suddenly we realize it’s too soft and old to eat fresh. Before you start throwing food out, try cooking it! You can throw old carrots or tomatoes into a crock pot for a delicious soup and old bananas or strawberries make excellent bread and muffins.

Of course, this won’t work with all foods, but before you head to the trash, consider a recipe you could cook up first!
