Tuesday's Tip 14: Take Inventory

Before you make your menu for the week, don’t forget to take a quick inventory of items already in your pantries, refrigerator, and freezer. While looking through what you already have on hand, take notes like “I could make this if I only had…” Using a mixture of foods you have on hand and foods on sale will help cut your budget. Sometimes the item or items you are missing is something you could easily pick up rather cheap!
