Don’t forget, when you are out if a store is sold out of an item that you wanted to purchase, grab a rain check at customer service. Rain checks will help you make sure you don’t miss out on great deals!
A rain check is a paper slip, allowing you to go back and purchase the item later for the sale price. Keep in mind that rain checks expire at different times at different stores, so pay attention to the expiration date.

FYI, Target apparently has a policy against giving rainchecks for any food items, as I found out three weeks ago.
